Seagram’s Old Fashioned Shot is a huge jump from well tequila.
It’s a well known fact that I prefer single-ingredient shots. I’d much rather have a shot of warm shitty whiskey than anything with a clever name. Of course I’m also a reasonable man, and I’ll consume just about anything put in front of me. That’s especially true when it comes in a free of charge.
The folks at Seagram’s were kind enough to send over what can only be described as a boozuitcase. It’s quite honestly some of the best packaging I’ve received out of hundreds of marketing mailers. That only gets you so far though. I’ve ignored many of those packages because their booze wasn’t up to snuff. Thankfully Seagram’s got the job done.
Don’t get me wrong, Seagram’s is no Johnnie Walker, but it tastes good and it only costs $13. What more could anyone possible ask for in a whiskey? Mixing it with 7-Up is still a stellar drink and this Seagram’s Old Fashioned Shot is a great addition to my party repertoire.
