The Pogues are as famous for partying as they are for music, so Pogues Whiskey was an obvious move. That’d be like someone asking me if I wanted my own Boozist whiskey label. Pogues whiskey is a unique blend. Half of it is comprised of 10 year and 7 year single malts aged in sherry and bourbon barrels respectively (no word on how much of each). The other half is four year Irish grain whiskey. The combination of young and old spirits make for a unique whiskey tailor made for the Shane MacGowan lifestyle.
