What’s better than one barrel? Two. Jim Beam took their standard Knob Creek Rye and gave it a second stint in new oak barrels to create Knob Creek Twice Barreled Rye. The original whiskey has long been a favorite in the Boozist bar, and the bonus barreling adds an extra dose of oak and and a bit of sweetness. It’s a stellar addition to Beam’s small batch lineup, which is home to the likes of Bakers, Basil Hayden’s, Bookers, and all of their new iterations. $45

“Rye whiskey is more popular than ever, and I’m proud Knob Creek plays a role in that,” said Fred Noe, Beam Family 7th Generation Master Distiller. “I’ve enjoyed experimenting with unique ways to amplify our classic rye whiskey to give whiskey fans something new and exciting, and I think we’ve done just that with Knob Creek Twice Barreled Rye. I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy this new whiskey with friends and family as we enter the holiday season.”
