Jake Melnick’s is putting a putt putt course in the bar

putt putt partyWho’s up for playing some bar games? No, not darts, pool, or crownhole. I’m talking putt putt… or miniature golf for those worried about trademark infringement. That’s right, for one day only Jake Melnick’s is letting people play putt putt in the bar!

The event is June 21st from 6pm-8pm, and while it’s unlikely you’ll have to navigate any windmills or t-rex’s, you can try to win tickets to the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Don’t care about winning tickets to see real golf? You can also win Oskar Blues Brewery swag, and more while throwing back $5 Oskar Blues specials. Just remember that it’s putt-putt, so the standard beer-a-hole rules don’t apply. You’ll never survive.

In non-golf related news, I’m doing everything in my power not to eat Jake Melnick’s XXX wings, which have habanero, ghost, and scorpion peppers in the sauce. Luckily I discovered a couple awesome new things on the menu this month. Please lord grant me the strength of a second stomach. Tell me these don’t sound ridiculously good:

Hot Italian Burger: Jake’s hand packed beef patty topped with griddled mortadella, hot capicola, provolone, marinated fresh mozzarella and roasted pepper salad served with giardineria mayo on a ciabatta bun.

Jake the Ripper: Local Makowski hot link wrapped in Applewood smoked bacon. Served on a sausage roll and topped with fresh pico de gallo and chipotle-lime crema.
