MLB stadiums are cashing in on baseball fans’ love of craft beer. The Houston Astros have gone a step further with Crawford Bock. The new signature beer, brewed by Karbach Brewing Co., is named after the Crawford Box seats in the outfield of Minute Maid Park and designed to look like their retro rainbow uniforms. The malty beer is only 4.5% ABV, making it perfect for drinking at the game or during a long afternoon posted up on a bar stool. The lower alcohol content also make Crawford Bock an ideal candidate for the old the beer-an-inning challenge, which isn’t really all that challenging given the 3-hour game duration.
For those who like drinking with purpose, a portion of all Crawford Bock sales will be donated to the Astros Foundation.
