Dads are notoriously tough to shop for which is why most of us resort to buying them booze for Father’s Day. This year you can add a noble portrait to the box though courtesy of Crown Royal’s “Crown Your Father” campaign. All you have to do is go to crownyourfather.com on your phone and upload a photo of pops. They take care of the rest including five different options for the background. It’s pointless but fun, and who wouldn’t want a regal painting of themselves to hang over the fireplace?
Crown Royal just so happens to have a new limited edition product out just in time for Father’s Day as well. You know, just in case you think he’s worth more than a digital portrait. He did spend at least 18 years raising you after all.
Crown Royal Wine Barrel Finished is the second release in Crown’s “Noble Collection.” It seems fitting given the noble nature of the “Crown Your Father” portrait you made for him. As the name suggest, it’s finished for six months in wine barrels that previously held Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s more rich than most of the flagship Crown Royal products, but it’s still most certainly Crown. And at $60 it says, “I love you, dad, and your lessons in fiscal responsibility are working.”
