Red Bush whiskey is one ginger that definitely has soul

Bushmills Red Bush

Bushmills Red BushBushmills brings together bourbon barrels & Irish whiskey in their latest creation, Red Bush. This new release is aged for at least three years in first fill bourbon barrels* to impart that familiar sweetness that we American’s hold so dear, but it’s still triple distilled for that signature Irish lightness and smoothness.

Bushmills Red Bush personifies the gritty Irish character and adds a sense of adventure and fun to our portfolio, further defining the confident, courageous and independent spirit we’ve seen for generations at Bushmills.

Johnnie Walker Blenders Batch is inexpensive and interesting – two great qualities

Random PR speak be damned, they nailed the profile they sought. The oak and vanilla you always expect from a bourbon comes through right away, which will be a nice security blanket for the drinker who’s typically too scared to stray outside of from bourbon. The malt hits on the palate though, reminding you that you’re still drinking an Irish whiskey. Red Bush subtle and sexy, like a young Lindsay Lohan. It’s also a very cost effective way to sneak a little bourbon into your Irish whiskey if you don’t want to pony up the cash for the ever-so-delightful Bushmills 10-year.
Bushmills Red Bush – $22

*Technically it would be the barrels’ 2nd fill, as the first would have been bourbon.
