Budweiser Clydesdales Get Into Intimidation Business

Budweiser Clydesdale Super Bowl Commercial

The Budweiser Clydesdales are back!

Rumors swirled late last year that the Budweiser Clydesdales were sent to the glue factory and A-B was going a different direction with their commercials. They cleared that up quickly by partnering with Lyft to give bargoers a horsey ride home. Lest you expect otherwise, the Budweiser Clydesdales are back for more pre-Super Bowl commercials on YouTube. They’re doing more than just dragging beer around town now though. They’re Anheuser-Busch enforcers.

The Budweiser Clydesdales are are all about tradition, and there’s nothing more traditional than the intimidation business. The practice has been used by gangsters peddling “protection,” politicians securing voting, and the Little Giants playing football. Now it’s Mr. Ed slapping a proverbial baton into his hoof. I expect sales to skyrocket yet again for America’s favorite red can.

Budweiser Clydesdales Pre Super Bowl Hype Commercial 2014

*UPDATE: This commercial will not be airing during the Super Bowl, rather it’s meant to build excitement beforehand. It’s like the pre-game show of commercials.
