I was recently approached by Thrillist to write an article about a bartender keeping his cool under pressure. If that sounds like an ad for a deodorant company, that’s because it is.
Gillette was sponsoring the article, and they wanted someone who had never been a bartender before to jump behind the stick for one night. The idea, obviously, would be that I was constantly in the weeds but still managed to stay dry and fresh like a spring breeze.
